Happy Birthday Mom!!!
If I could give you diamonds for each tear you cried for me.
If I could give you sapphires for each truth you’ve helped me see.
If I could give you rubies for the heartache that you’ve known
If I could give you pearls for the wisdom that you’ve shown.
Then you’ll have a treasure, mother, that would mount up to the skies
That would almost match the sparkle in your kind and loving eyes.
But I have no pearls, no diamonds, As I’m sure you’re well aware
So I’ll give you gifts more precious My devotion, love and care.
With all my love on your birthday

Fun Run!

Dibrell School Fundraiser
My Dad signed us up for the 5th Annual Wildcat 5k and 1mile fun run. We were all excited about it at first until the day grew closer then we all three became worried about it, wondering if we could make it to the finish line. Then that morning it was raining and pouring, we still went and the rain let up a little right before we started running. My Grandma, Aunt Judy, Gidget, Megan and Josh also were there and why I didn't get a picture of them is beyond me (I'm usually camera crazy) But I am proud of us all!

My soooooo.. cool Brother putting on his #......Before We Were Breathless.......

Yay! We Did It !!!
3.1 Miles
Michael's time 28.17, Daddy and I made it in 30.10
The rain messed our numbers up but kept us cool, couldn't imagine doing it in the blazing sun:)
We really had a good time. It was very satisfying when we got done, I was very proud of my Dad there is not to many his age that could run 3 miles! We can't wait for another one.

Our Deepest Need

Check out the post Our Deepest Need on Tara's Blog at http://chasingafterfaith.blogspot.com/
I would like to have been there to see our national leaders faces. I'm glad someone with boldness for God had the opportunity to speak out.

My Wonderful Husband

I have to take a minute and brag on my wonderful husband. A week ago Friday, before I left for work Josh told me that he would like for us to go on a date that night. Like always I thought that would be nice:) I really didn't get off until 6:00, so that morning I took nice cloths to the gym so I could get ready there for all day. So throughout the day I had tried to call him at the cabinet shop and his dad said that he wasn't there and then his dad said something about my dad calling and that's not a normal thing but I just thought that I miss understood him somehow, anyway I couldn't get a hold of him. My Dad had left to go pick a car up in Cookville and then had called and said he was going to stop by his house before coming back to work. (by the way I help my Dad and Brother on Thurs. and Fri.'s at The Truck Lot) Later that day Dad had come back to work and I noticed grass on his back, I thought he had just done some weed eating. Anyway, to make a long story longer, about 5:00 Dad told me to go ahead and take off work. I got home and Josh was all dressed up and told me get dressed up also (although I had already dressed up for the evening that morning) but he told me to wear a dress. As I got ready I could hear him taking something outside. We got in the truck and he made me wear a blind fold (he did the same thing when he asked me to marry him except I could tell where we were driving too, well that is another story) this time we were driving for quiet a while and I had no clue where we were going then it started to feel like we were going 4-wheeling the truck was bouncing up and down and I could do nothing but laugh. We came to a stop and he said to wait here and made me promise not to peak and I didn't. I waited for awhile, he came and got me out of the truck. I noticed the ground was really soft because my heals were sinking in the ground. We walked a little way and then he said I could look I then realized we were down on the river were my Dad has a large private family campsite. Josh had built a fire, had a blanket down, had our wedding flutes and plates set, candles and tikki torches all around. The river was up and it was a perfect setting. With grapes, cheese and crackers laid out he laughed and said we only have hot dogs and chips to eat and then poured Dr. Thunder in the flutes. After we roasted our hot dogs we had my favorite....smores.... they were sooo good. All in all Josh really surprised me and we really enjoyed it, we laughed and cut up all night. Our dates usually consist of going out to eat and maybe shopping around and then going home and occasionally renting a movie. This was something totally different and Josh did put a lot of work into it. Earlier in my long story Josh had called my dad to see if it was dry enough down at the river and then my dad had tried to call him at the shop which was what my Father-in-law was talking about. My Dad had met Josh on the river to help him clear off and clean up the site a little. That's why my Dad had grass all over him. Looking back I see all the clues but had no idea what was going on. This whole date might not sound like much but it did mean a lot to me and I truly enjoyed it. Its good to know that we can have so much fun doing the simple things.
just a couple of pics.

Over The Weekend!

Well, I'm going to start with Thursday. Lydia and I went to the Library (by the way if you and your child are available on Thursday mornings at 10:30am you should come to story time, Lydia loves it) they read a book that was similar to Peter Cotton Tail and then they painted a wooden egg that looked real after it was painted. Lydia really enjoyed herself. Then we were off to Taiah's Easter Party at school, of course all the kids had a blast. Although with the fun filled day that we had celebrating Easter not once did I hear anything about our Risen Lord Jesus Christ. Is he not the reason for the season! Ya know I bet I would be floored by the number of kids (and adults) that don't truly understand what Easter is all about. You better believe my kids know exactly what Easter is.

Thank God, Jesus came to live a perfect life and then take all of our punishment, all of our sorrows on himself. Thank God he died on the cross in my place and Praise God, he didn't stay in the tomb, For He Is Alive!

I think Lydia was on a sugar rush all day Thursday. Here she is enjoying some of the goodies she got from Taiah school party.
Also over the weekend
O-Kay I'm the worlds worst when it comes to remembering Birthday's, so I started programing all the ones I could remember in my phone. Well I don't know what happened but it didn't work and I let yet another birthday slip by my memory this past Saturday.
So here is to my wonderful Sister-In-Law Candice.
Happy Belated Birthday !!!

Easter Morning!!

Well we didn't get to go to the Sunrise service at Church, I really wanted to but I thought that 34degrees was to cold to sit outside with my girls. But the regular service was wonderful. After church we went out to my Aunts house and had dinner and a big egg hunt for the kids.

Lydia caught a butterfly :)

All dressed up!

My Taiah Is 7yrs Old!!!

Happy Birthday To My Taiah!

Taiah wanted a slumber party last year for her birthday and things didn't go as planned and she was very disappointed. So when she mentioned she would like to try to have a slumber party this year, I made sure that it was going to happen. I think she and all the girls had a blast. Taiah never asks for a whole lot she is not hard to please and is very laid back. I love my Taiah so much and can't believe that it has been 7yrs since she first came into my life and change me forever! She is Truly A Blessing From God.

All her friends: Megan, Ashley, Lydia :), Bailey, Gabby, and MayleeOh, she also wanted a tie-dye party, so that cake is supposed to be tie-dyed:)

Ready to eat cake and ice cream!!The inside of her tie-dyed cake. I was surprised on how this cake turned out. I had seen cupcakes done like this on-line, so didn't know exactly how it would turn out. I thought it looked pretty neat. The shirts all wrapped up for the whole night. ( That was a long time to wait for the girls to see how their shirts looked)

We danced and talked all night. We also played many games, including balloon pop charades/trivia, pillow pass, freeze dance, blind folded animal find, ring-a-round the roses once for Lydia because she was going to have a cow if we didn't:) oh last but not least the dreaming game. I think I enjoyed myself just as much as the girls did. Those girls were so wound up I didn't think they were ever going to go to sleep. Taiah also lost a tooth that night when she was eating her pizza. so the tooth fairy had to search through all those pillow to find that tooth without any of those girls waking up:) fun, fun.

The next morning they got to unwrap their shirts.

A Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to the most important man in my life. One of the best blessing of my life. I love you so much, you are my world. Thanks for being such a wonderful Husband and Father.

I meant to post this yesterday but I was so busy from the time I woke up to the time I laid down so I'm posting it tonight. Witch we didn't get to finish celebrating until tonight so I guess it doesn't matter. Oh, you might want to check out my sister-in-laws blog http://avapix.blogspot.com/ just to see how cool my man really is. lol! :)

Hot Fudge Sundae Ice-Cream Cake!!! This cake was soooo good! Althoug I forgott to buy the cherries for on top. I saw this in one of my recipe books and had to try it for this special occasion. Taiah and Lydia helped with every step ( they always love helping me cook especially if it baking a cake). Josh loved it and I would love to say I didn't eat any but I did and enjoyed every bite. Of course we had to undress Lydia to eat this( Josh is the one that cut her that big of a piece, and no I didn't let her eat all of it but she got close).
